Under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, every non-domestic premises and the common parts of every HMO must have a current fire risk assessment. We carry out PAS 79 compliant FRAs across London with IFSM qualified assessors — no upsell, no scare tactics, just clear actionable findings. An FRA identifies the alarm grade required (typically Grade D LD2 in HMOs); install or upgrade is then quoted per-point at £180.

Frequently asked questions
How often does an FRA need to be reviewed?
Reviewed annually as a minimum, and fully rewritten on any material change — new tenants, building works, change of use, or change in occupancy level.
What's the difference between an FRA and a fire alarm test?
An FRA is a written risk assessment of the whole premises — escape routes, detection, signage, fire-stopping. A fire alarm test verifies the alarm system itself works to BS 5839. Both are required: the FRA tells you what alarm grade is needed; the alarm test verifies the system you have works.
Do you fix what the FRA finds?
Where remedials are electrical (emergency lighting, detection, fire-stopping at penetrations) we can quote and complete in-house. Specialist fire-door surveys and intumescent works are referred to our trusted partners.
